After a nine-month test phase, time:matters, the time-critical subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo, has introduced its Emergency.Solutions offering to customers in the automotive, aviation, engineering, and oil and gas industries.
The new service is part of Lufthansa Cargo’s premium product. Though time:matters is handling the new offering, future additions could be outsourced to industry experts.
“We are pleased to further intensify the close partnership with Lufthansa Cargo through this product innovation and to enable a solution for highly urgent special shipments,” time:matters’ Chief Financial Officer Arne Schulke said in a statement.
time:matters employees at the courier terminals at Frankfurt and Munich airports will handle these new service components. The new product is a continuous contingency plan that offers pre-defined solutions and help to move emergency shipments.
