N.C. ports names Miles acting executive director

The North Carolina State Ports Authority on Friday named Jeff Miles as acting executive director. Miles has served in senior management positions in the port and maritime transportation industry for 20 years. He spent a decade as the general manager of container operations at the South Carolina State Ports Authority. In addition to his time with South Carolina ports authority, he served as president of a private marine terminal company specializing in bulk and breakbulk operations...
