Maersk vows to match capacity to demand

   Soren Skou, chief executive officer of Maersk Line, said if there's insufficient demand by shippers for transport when its 18,000-TEU "Triple-E" containerships enter service later this year between Asia and Europe, the company will trim capacity.    “As we introduce new and larger ships, if the market is not growing we will pull out other capacity to make the balance for us,” said Skou in an interview published in the company's in-house magazine Maersk Post .    The company...
