MSC merges its Chile feeders

   The liner carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. has rationalised its two Balbo-based feeder loops to the west coast of South America by combining them into one.    It has discontinued its three-ship average 3,631-TEUs "Chile" loop which called Arica, Coronel and Valparaiso, and added calls at Arica and Coronel to its "Andean" feeder service instead.    The weekly Andean loop has also added a forth vessel and increased roundtrip voyage ti...
