MOL joins reefer rate hike brigade

   The liner carrier MOL said Thursday it will join with Maersk Line and the Transpacific Stabilization Agreement members in seeking rate hikes for refrigerated cargo from Jan. 1.    MOL, which left the TSA in 2009, plans to raise rates on a global basis by $1,500 per container, in line with increases announced by Maersk in September.
