Liner carriers hike transatlantic rates

   Several liner carriers said they're increasing their transatlantic rates.    Hapag-Lloyd on April 1 will increase its eastbound transatlantic rates for all cargo and container types in the trade from Canada, the United States and Mexico to North Europe and the Mediterranean by $150 per 20-foot container and $200 per 40-foot container.    In the westbound transatlantic direction - from North Europe and the Med to North America - the increase will...
