New Zealand software and technology developer Jade Software Corp. has opened an office in Dubai on the back of recent successes of its port management software, Master Terminal, in the Middle East.
The company said it has seen modest success in the region over the past 18 months and will use the new office as a local presence to shore up new business. Its Master Terminal product supports marine, inland, and multi-modal moves in the region.
Jade is building on long-term partnerships with the likes of Gulftainer, which manages and operates container terminals of Sharjah, Port Khalid, and Khorfakkan, on behalf of the Sharjah Port Authority, and with the holding company Milaha (formerly Qatar Navigation Port Services). Its terminal operating software is also being implemented at the Port of Doha.
Master Terminal is currently used in more than nine countries.
