German air freight declined in 2012

The Federal Statistical Office of Germany reported today that air freight out of that country was down across the board last year when compared to 2011. Shipments within Germany came to 4.3 million tons, a decline of 2.2 percent, year over year. Loaded goods declined by 1.7 percent and unloaded goods fell by 2.8 percent, year over year.
