   Fednav Ltd. signed a long-term contract to transport nickel and copper concentrates from Canadian Royalties' Nunavik Nickel Project in northern Quebec to customers in Europe, as well as handle the import of mine supplies and equipment from Europe.    To service the contract, Fednav placed an order with Sumitomo Corp. and Universal Shipbuilding in Japan to design and build an ice-breaking bulk carrier with a design deadweight of 25,000 tons.
