The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 13 license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received a non-vessel-operating common carrier license application from Em-Lines Ltd., Hong Kong (Robin B. Finke, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Brutos International Corp., Monterey Park, Calif. (Janet Li, secretary); JT Freight Solutions, San Gabriel, Calif. (Jeremy Tran, president); OceanLink Shipping Logistics, Anaheim, Calif. (Nevine G. Shehata, chief executive officer); and World Link Logistics, Cerritos, Calif. (Syed M. Ali, president).
The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Advantex Express, Humble, Texas (Gary C. Cockrell, assistant vice president for regulatory affairs); Jawed Salim, Cypress, Texas (Jawed Salim, sole proprietor); and Veco Logistics Miami, Miami (Patricia E. Puga, vice president).
In addition, the FMC received applications for a change to a qualifying individual from Harris International Freight Forwarders, Seattle (Irmgard H. Harris, secretary); for trade name additions from Amerifreight, Walnut, Calif. (Lionel Bao, president) for iGlobal US; Blue Cargo Group, Jamaica, N.Y. (Khalid Aziz, manager) for Blu Logistics; and Global Logistics New Jersey, Rutherford, N.J. (Ohmoon Kwon, manager) for Hyundai Glovis New Jersey; and for a license transfer from Durard Timothy Gruelle, Coraopolis, Pa. (Durard T. Gruelle, president) for D.T. Gruelle Company Group.
