The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 10 license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier license applications from Nautical Shipping Line, Karachi, Pakistan (Asif Ali, vice president); and S&R Marine Services, Rotterdam (Peter F. Spiering, president).
The agency received NVO/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Easy Shipping Corp., Oak Lawn, Ill. (Ahmed Sadek, president); Miami Freight & Logistics Services, Miami (Syed H. Hussaini, vice president); and Universal Containers, Encino, Calif. (Ajay R. Rathod, manager).
The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from Champion International Moving, Canonsburg, Pa. (Ronald A. Smith, president); and Sprint Global, Cary, N.C. (Jagadeeswari Chandramouleeswaran, president).
In addition, the FMC received applications for a change to a qualifying individual from Naca Logistics (USA), Carson, Calif. (Ank de Roos, director); and Transportes Zuleta, Miami (Carmen L. Rodriguez, treasurer); and a name change from Hua Yang Transportation Co., Carson, Calif. (Merlinda V. Tan, chief operating officer) to Firstrans International Co.
