The International Trade Administration of the U.S. Commerce Department is in the process of giving the Export.gov Website a makeover to make it more user-friendly and interactive, Michael Masserman, the executive director for export policy, promotion and strategy, said last week in Chicago.
is a portal loaded with news, advice, tutorials and information about programs across the federal government designed to help companies get started exporting or expand their activity.
Masserman told an audience of shippers and transportation providers at an export seminar hosted by the Containerization and Intermodal Institute that the Website will have more of a Facebook-type feel, and link to various types of social media.
