Volga-Dnepr Group has appointed Sergey Reznikov as vice president of its Volga-Dnepr Unique Air Cargo (USA).
Reznikov succeeds Konstantin Vekchine, vice president for sales and marketing in charter operations subgroup, who has decided to leave Volga-Dnepr after 15 years.
Vekchine is credited with arranging Volga-Dnepr Unique Air Cargo’s long-term contracts with U.S. government and industry customers.
Reznikov has 17 years with Volga-Dnepr Group. He joined the company as a sales executive and was most recently deputy sales director.
Sea Star Line has promoted Chris Willman to director of national field sales.
He joined Sea Star Line in March 2005 as an inside sales representative. Since then, he has held several key sales positions with his most recent role being sales manager for non-vessel-operating common carriers and FAK (freight-all-kinds) accounts.
Saddle Creek Logistics Services has named Steven J. Edelstein as director of business development and order fulfillment.
In this role, he will focus on expanding Saddle Creek’s fulfillment business by developing new customer relationships and promoting organic growth with existing accounts. He will be based in New Haven, Conn.
Edelstein has more than 20 years of experience in direct marketing as well as supply chain management and logistics. Prior to joining Saddle Creek, he founded The Logical Step, a direct marketing consultancy. He has also held management positions with Fosdick Fulfillment and NewRoads.
