Envirotainer has opened a service center in Singapore, and the company is planning to open offices in Vienna and Amsterdam by next summer.
The Singapore location is the second office to be completely owned by the ULD firm, but it brings the company's service to more than 50 airports.
In addition to servicing units, officials will use the location to test new concepts and evaluate current practices.
"Envirotainer has an ongoing process to evaluate its service network, and the opening of the Singapore station will help ensure and further improve on that Envirotainer high quality standards are met," according to a company press release.
Envirotainer's Staffan Ingfors said, “I am very pleased about the launch of our own Singapore service station. To provide this full service location in Asia with handling, repair and maintenance for all our container types will be another important step on Envirotainer’s journey to bring the Active Cold Chain to where our customers need us to be.”
