Descartes Systems Group had second quarter net profit of $2.6 million, 30 percent more than the $2 million earned in the same period a year earlier.
Revenue was $28.8 million in the quarter ending July 31, up 14 percent from $25.2 million in the second quarter last year.
The Waterloo, Ontario-based logistics platform company acquired Telargo in June, a provider of telematics services that help customers monitor and manage trucks and other mobile assets and help fleet owners comply with various domestic transportation regulations.
Descartes said it will unveil a new logistics technology platform next week.
About 43 percent of Descartes' revenues are generated in the United States.
