Corpus Christi finalizes Navy property sale

Port Corpus Christi said on Tuesday it finalized the sale of a large portion of the former U.S. Naval Station Ingleside (NSI) to the Oxy Ingleside Energy Center. The purchase price of $82.1 million included 815 acres, the 1,100-foot double deck concrete “Alpha” pier and more than 2,000 feet of wharf frontage adjacent to a deep-water turning basin.
