Con-way's 2012 profits up despite lower 4Q

   The freight transportation and logistics company Con-way on Thursday said it had operating profit of $228.8 million in 2012, a 10.1 percent increase from 2011.    Net income for the company, which operates in the less-than-truckload, truckload, and logistics segments, improved 18.2 percent to $104.5 million.    The annual results came despite a drop in operating and net profit in the fourth quarter.
