CaroTrans has begun a new weekly, direct service from the U.S. West Coast to seven points in Central America, the company announced Thursday.
The points are Belize, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador and Panama.
“This new U.S. West Coast service to Central America further reinforces our commitment to delivering services where they are needed,” Chief Executive Officer Greg Howard said in a statement. “After 35 years of providing dependable global ocean transportation services, we have a strong, experienced network designed to provide our customers with first-class service and support.”
CaroTrans has consolidation centers in Seattle, Portland and San Francisco.
