CDC Software Corp., an enterprise software provider of on-site and cloud services such as supply chain management, has released a version of its Pivotal customer relationship management (CRM) software for the iPad, allowing users to access their CRM information on the go.
Based in Atlanta, CDC said the service will allow its customers to implement traditional CRM processes but benefit from a customizable mobile service. CDC provides a toolkit that allows customers to create their own iPad apps around the CRM platform.
By configuring searches to look at any data within the Pivotal CRM deployment, CDC said its customers can quickly access all of the information relevant to their activity from the Web. The service updates information instantly as long as the user is online. Data can be synched and accessed later for when no wireless network is available.
