BIMCO picks Frew for secretary general

   BIMCO, a trade association representing many of the world’s shipowners, has picked Angus R. Frew to succeed retiring Torben C. Skaanild as secretary general and chief executive officer later this year.    Frew is currently chief executive of the U.K. Chamber of Shipping. It’s expected Frew, who will relocate to Denmark, will start his appointment on Oct. 1.
