Antwerp sees little change in 2012 box volumes

   The Port of Antwerp handled 184.1 million tons of cargo in 2012 , a drop of 1.6 percent compared to 2011, when the volume was 187.2 million tons.    Container freight volume in Antwerp was little changed at 8.6 million TEUs, down 0.3 percent.    Roll-on/roll-off freight volumes were up 13 percent to about 4.8 million tons. The number of cars handled in 2012 came to 1.24 million, an increase of 14.8 percent....
