The global trade management (GTM) solutions provider Amber Road said Tuesday it has opened an office in Munich, Germany, to serve as its Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) headquarters.
Strong demand for its global trade management solutions in Europe has fueled the company’s growth in the region, Amber Road said. Amber Road began offering services in Europe in Scandinavia in 2009, but has grown its European customer base to include companies such as ABB, Drägerwerke, Lantiq, Metso, Siemens and Talis, among others.
“With the EMEA headquarters coordinating our region-wide activities, we can better serve our existing and future customers, complementing our local representations with enhanced resources and expertise for a wider range of functions,” said John Preuninger, president of Amber Road, in a statement.
The new office will support and complement the activities of Amber Road’s existing sales offices in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Great Britain, the company said. - Eric Johnson
