AirBridgeCargo Airlines will launch twice-weekly, Boeing 747-8 freighter service on Monday to Dallas.
The flight will link Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport with Amsterdam Schiphol and Moscow Sheremetyevo.
The carrier will also start previously announced freighter flights from Frankfurt to Chicago on Monday.
"Chicago has been a very successful route for us since we commenced services on the route in 2012, and the extra B747F flight a week from O’Hare International Airport will provide welcome additional capacity for our customers," Denis Ilin, executive president of AirBridgeCargo Airlines, said in a statement. "Expanding services in the U.S. market is a logical step in the airline’s development and means we can increase our ability to offer fast and efficient freight deliveries for customers doing business in North America, Europe, Asia and Russia.”
According to officials, since the Chicago flights were introduced in 2012, tonnage from North America has risen by 12 percent, while activity to the region has grown by 4 percent.
